Patna, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Candidates vying for 1,799 sub-inspector positions in the Bihar Police staged a protest in Patna’s Gardanibagh area on September 9, 2026. They are demanding the immediate announcement of dates for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) after successfully passing the preliminary and main exams.
The protesters gathered with placards, urging the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) and the state government to release the PET schedule without further delay. Many expressed frustration over the uncertainty surrounding their future due to repeated postponements of the PET dates.
Having completed both the preliminary and main examinations, the candidates are now eager to move on to this next stage of the recruitment process. They voiced concerns that the ongoing delays have undermined their hard work and preparation.
