Bhumika Gurung Unveils Mysteries in Upcoming Web Series Snow Bride

Mumbai, October 23 (Daily Kiran) : Bhumika Gurung, known for her roles in the TV shows “Nimki Mukhiya” and “Nimki Vidhayak,” is set to captivate audiences in the upcoming web series “Snow Bride.” This thrilling series is set in a remote Himalayan village, steeped in fear, superstition, and a chilling mystery that grips the local community.

In “Snow Bride,” Bhumika portrays the character of Purva, a woman determined to uncover the truth rather than blindly accept the village’s beliefs. She aims to challenge the long-held notions of the villagers, leading viewers to question their own perceptions of the unfolding mystery.

Bhumika highlights that the series allows viewers to peel back the layers of the mystery alongside her character. The six-episode suspense crime drama also features notable performances from Shivam Bhargav, Manul Chudasama, and Indrajit Modi.

The narrative revolves around a village where tales of the Yeti have been passed down through generations. The sudden disappearance of young women is often linked to the mythical creature, leading to the term “Yeti’s brides.” The villagers accept these eerie occurrences due to fear and deep-rooted beliefs. As Purva begins to question these stories, she encounters increasingly terrifying truths with each inquiry.

Bhumika reflects on her character, saying, “What I find most compelling about Purva is her refusal to accept something as truth simply because everyone around her believes it. She seeks to understand what is happening, even if it means distancing herself from those she knows.”

She adds, “Portraying Purva’s strong resolve, along with her fears and uncertainties, has been an intriguing challenge. I believe the best aspect of ‘Snow Bride’ is that viewers will solve the mystery alongside Purva. I want them to reflect on their understanding of the village and its secrets.”

Actor Shivam Bhargav finds the series’ concept and setting intriguing. He notes, “The premise of ‘Snow Bride’ is fascinating. The location and the Yeti lore create an unsettling atmosphere that compels viewers to ponder what people believe, what they ignore, and what lies hidden beneath the surface.”

He shares his excitement about being part of a crime drama where the mystery unfolds gradually, expressing eagerness for audiences to discover how the truth is revealed.

Actress Manul Chudasama emphasizes that the series delves deeper than just the Yeti story. She remarks, “What makes ‘Snow Bride’ special is that the truth accepted by the villagers hides an even darker reality. This adds to the unsettling nature of the story. I am excited to be part of a world where appearances can be deceiving, and I look forward to seeing how viewers perceive the characters as the secrets unfold.”
