Patna, September 21 (Daily Kiran) : A political controversy has erupted in Bihar following remarks made by Dr. Rajan Singh, a member of the state’s Transgender Welfare Board. In a recently surfaced video, Singh makes derogatory comments about Union Minister Chirag Paswan, prompting strong backlash from Jitan Ram Manjhi, the Union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
Manjhi expressed his outrage on the social media platform X, stating, “It is unacceptable to make disrespectful comments about a Union Minister and label him as transgender. I demand action against those who have made such remarks about our colleague Chirag Paswan from Bihar.”
In his post, Manjhi tagged Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, urging the government to take the issue seriously and implement stringent legal measures. He emphasized that disparaging comments against any Union Minister are entirely inappropriate.
