Chhapra, May 19: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary issued a stern warning to officials on Tuesday. He stated that if issues raised during the public assistance camps are not resolved within 30 days, the responsible officer will face suspension. The aim of these camps is to address the problems of ordinary citizens swiftly. Camps will be organized in all panchayats.
During the “Cooperation Camp” program in Dumri Buzurg village, Sonpur block of Saran district, CM Chaudhary inaugurated the initiative and addressed the attendees. He emphasized that public issues cannot be delayed. The purpose of the public assistance camps is to provide quick resolutions, preventing citizens from having to visit government offices repeatedly.
He noted that these camps will be held in every panchayat. The Chief Minister highlighted the need for problem-solving, mentioning that a report indicated 54 applications had been received so far, all of which have been processed.
“Some officials believe there are court-related matters or land issues involved. Let it be clear that orders must be issued. If you do not act within 30 days, the Bihar government will take action against such officials. We will not spare anyone,” he stated.
CM Chaudhary further explained that if an officer fails to act after receiving applications, they will receive a notice within 10 days, a second notice after 20 days, and a third notice after 25 days. If the issue remains unresolved after 30 days, the officer will automatically be suspended.
He also mentioned that industries will be established in Bihar. It is now our responsibility to ensure that those who previously left Bihar for jobs can find employment here. Degree colleges will be established in blocks lacking them, with plans to create 211 new colleges. He added that referrals for patients from sub-divisional or block hospitals will cease. The intention is to ensure justice for people in their villages, which is the reason for organizing these camps.
