Recently, she visited Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh, where she had a significant meeting with the spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama. Subsequently, Dharamshala became the center of the Tibetan government-in-exile, a place of great significance for the Tibetan community today.
Following the Dalai Lama’s asylum in India, tensions between India and China escalated, as China viewed it as interference in its internal affairs. During this period, border disputes between the two nations also intensified, ultimately leading to the India-China war in 1962, which had a profound impact on their relations.
