BJPs Sudhanshu Trivedi Criticizes Rahul Gandhi Over National Progress

BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi criticizes Rahul Gandhi, claiming the opposition undermines Indias progress and self-respect.

Bhubaneswar, November 2 (Daily Kiran) : In a press conference held in Bhubaneswar, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi sharply criticized Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that the Congress leader does not appreciate the progress and self-respect of the nation. Trivedi emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is navigating through global turmoil with resilience.

He pointed out that India is emerging as the fastest-growing economy among major global economies. Trivedi referred to a recent World Bank report that praised India’s success in reducing poverty, noting a decline from 27% below the poverty line in 2011-12 to just 2.5% today. He remarked that India’s advancements in artificial intelligence, defense production, and new technologies are causing discomfort among various global powers.

Trivedi lamented that the opposition appears to be a mere puppet in the hands of these powers. He accused the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi of being a threat to democracy, stating that their actions suggest they are not in favor of the country’s progress. Trivedi reminded the audience that Congress has been absent from Odisha for 25 years.

He highlighted Congress’s long-standing absence in several states, including Gujarat since 1995, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar since 1990, and Bengal since 1977, among others. Trivedi criticized the opposition for spreading misinformation, questioning the credibility of Congress’s claims in states where they govern, like Kerala.

Furthermore, he addressed Gandhi’s remarks about 130 million people, clarifying that among them are 28 million deceased individuals and many others who have shifted their voting registrations. He asserted that the Naxal issue in regions like Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Andhra Pradesh has been resolved, but suggested that the ideological Naxalism now resides in Delhi.
