The $15 billion (USD) investment, spread over five years (2026–2030), will include the construction of gigawatt-scale data center operations, powered by clean energy and supported by a robust subsea and terrestrial network.

AI Hub: A Collaboration Between Airtel, Google, and AdaniConneX

The AI Hub will be primarily owned by Google, while Airtel and AdaniConneX will play key roles in execution. The project aims to accelerate AI adoption across Indian businesses by offering Google’s full-stack AI services and a next-generation digital infrastructure.

As part of the initiative, Airtel and Google will also develop a state-of-the-art data center and a Cable Landing Station (CLS) in Visakhapatnam. The CLS will host Google’s new international subsea cables, which will connect India to the global digital backbone, enhancing connectivity and data capacity.

Airtel will lead the development of a high-capacity intra-city and inter-city fibre network, ensuring seamless data transmission and AI service integration across the region.
