Tragic Incident in Aurangabad: Three Children Murdered by Uncle, Suspect Attempts Suicide

Patna, March 28: In a shocking incident in Aurangabad district, Bihar, three children were brutally murdered by their uncle on Friday. According to police reports, the attack occurred in the village of Khuthatan, located in the Haspur police station area. The suspect has been identified as Amant Pal.

The accused allegedly entered the home and attacked his two nephews and niece, using a sharp weapon to slit their throats. The victims have been identified as 10-year-old Anish Kumar, 7-year-old Ayush Kumar, and 5-year-old Anushka Kumari, all children of Guddu Pal.

The brutality of this crime has sent shockwaves throughout the community, leaving residents in fear and disbelief. Police stated that the suspect arrived at the house around 11 AM, knocked on the door, and, after entering, reportedly turned on a loudspeaker before launching the attack. The children screamed in terror, but unfortunately, no one was able to save them.

Following the incident, the suspect attempted suicide by cutting his own throat. He was initially admitted to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital but has since been referred to Patna for advanced treatment due to his critical condition.

Authorities have indicated that, at first glance, the suspect appears to be responsible for this heinous crime. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact motive behind the murders.

The area is currently enveloped in grief and terror, as the tragic loss of three innocent children has left their family in shock. Describing the horrific event, Dawoodnagar SDPO Ashok Kumar Das stated that police acted swiftly upon receiving the information. He noted that teams from the Haspura police station promptly arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.

The father of the deceased children, Guddu Pal, works as a cook in a train compartment.
