BenQ Launches 4K IPS Monitors for Mac Users in India

BenQ has introduced two new 4K monitors in India as part of its MA Series: the MA270UP and MA320UP. These monitors are specifically designed for MacBook users seeking precise color accuracy, high brightness, and seamless connectivity for both work and entertainment purposes.

Display Specifications

The MA270UP features a 27-inch IPS display, while the MA320UP boasts a larger 32-inch screen. Both models provide a 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The use of IPS panels ensures stable viewing angles and consistent color reproduction. The MA270UP can achieve a peak brightness of 450 nits, whereas the MA320UP offers a brighter performance at 600 nits, making it ideal for well-lit environments.

Enhanced macOS Compatibility

BenQ has prioritized compatibility with macOS in these monitors. They support features such as iDevice Color Sync, M-book Mode, and ICCsync, which automatically align the display’s color profile with that of a connected MacBook. This ensures color consistency between the laptop and the external monitor, eliminating the need for manual calibration—an essential feature for professionals working with photography, video, and design.

Connectivity Features

The MA Series supports single-cable USB-C connectivity, featuring dual USB-C ports. One port delivers up to 90W of power for charging a MacBook, while the other provides 15W for accessories. This USB-C connection also facilitates 4K video and data transfer. For additional versatility, both monitors come equipped with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort options, accommodating use with various systems.

HDR Support and Adjustable Stand

Both monitors offer HDR support, with the MA270UP certified for VESA DisplayHDR 400 and the MA320UP achieving VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. They come with fully adjustable stands, allowing users to tilt, swivel, pivot, and adjust the height as needed. On-screen controls are available for quick adjustments. The MA-UP models utilize BenQ’s Nano Gloss Panel, while the MA-U series features a Nano Matte Panel for those who prefer reduced glare.

Pricing and Availability

In India, the BenQ MA270UP is priced at Rs. 46,998, while the MA320UP is available for Rs. 56,998. Both models can be purchased through the BenQ e-Store, Amazon.in, and leading electronics and IT retailers. A three-year warranty is offered with both monitors.
