The match, held at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, featured a dramatic winning goal from defender Meano Koch in the 89th minute.

Bengaluru FC started aggressively, employing high pressing tactics that put pressure on SC Delhi’s defense. Their efforts bore fruit in the 22nd minute when debutant Borja Martinez struck the opening goal with a left-footed shot from outside the box, assisted by Ryan Williams. The ball found the bottom left corner of the net.
