New Delhi, May 5: BJP spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh expressed his joy over the party’s victory in West Bengal. In an interview with a news agency on Monday, he stated that the people of West Bengal have completely rejected fear, terror, corruption, and nepotism. A government focused on good governance is on the horizon. The citizens have chosen us with hope, and we will strive to meet those expectations. We are committed to fulfilling every promise made to the people of Bengal, whether it pertains to the Uniform Civil Code or women’s dignity. I want to make it clear that we will not tolerate any laxity in delivering on our commitments to the people of Bengal.
He mentioned that a double-engine government is set to emerge in Bengal. We are planning to establish a double industrial hub in the state. We have outlined a comprehensive plan, which we will soon implement.
Additionally, he pointed out that the Congress party’s decline is evident to all. In Kerala, they seem to be relying on the Kerala Muslim League to form a government. Historically, Congress has partnered with the Muslim League. In this situation, they are no longer taken seriously. Furthermore, as election results from five states are being announced, reports suggest that the former Congress president is vacationing abroad, recently spotted in Muscat. This raises questions about the future of Congress.
Gaurav Vallabh asserted that the era of Congress’s part-time politics is coming to an end. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s political standards are set to expand further.
He also referenced Assam, stating that they are poised to form the government for the third time. In Puducherry, they are set to regain power. Overall, this indicates that the public trusts the Prime Minister. They have faith in his commitment and governance style, knowing he will not compromise their interests. This growing trust is favorable for the BJP.
Moreover, he responded to Congress leader Tariq Anwar’s statement, emphasizing the need for introspection within the party. Vallabh questioned where they would reflect, suggesting they would need to relocate to Muscat, given their time spent abroad. He reiterated that this mandate is a rejection of nepotism in politics.
He claimed that anyone who has tried to promote dynastic politics has faced defeat. When Mamata Banerjee attempted to establish her nephew, Abhishek Banerjee, in politics, she was met with failure. The public now believes in the development politics of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, rather than in family ties. The time has come to end dynastic politics.
Additionally, he reacted to Omar Abdullah’s statement, expressing uncertainty about its context. He suggested that Abdullah might be referring to Congress but urged him to clarify his remarks. Vallabh warned that the era of nepotism in politics has concluded.
He also commented on the election results in Tamil Nadu, stating that we must accept the democratic process. In this context, we acknowledge the results and wish TVK leader Vijay success. He hopes that Vijay will work with a positive mindset. Furthermore, the Tamil Nadu electorate has made it clear that those who insult Sanatan Dharma have been relegated to third place, especially after comparing it to the coronavirus.
