New Delhi, April 14: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh launched a sharp attack on the ruling parties of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. He claimed that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has completely transformed ‘Sonar Bangla’ into a hub of corruption and extremist ideologies.
Speaking to reporters, Chugh accused the TMC government of steering Bengal towards a jihadist mindset. “Today, Bengal has become a stronghold of corruption and extremist thinking. A specific syndicate is running the entire state. Soon, the TMC government will fall, and the BJP will turn this syndicate upside down,” he stated.
Chugh further emphasized that the BJP aims to transform Bengal into a strong, secure, and prosperous state, reflective of Rabindranath Tagore’s dreams. He asserted that the BJP will never forget the atrocities and injustices faced by Hindus under TMC rule. Once in power, the BJP will investigate every case and ensure justice is served.
He also issued a warning regarding illegal immigration. “Illegal infiltrators and demographic imbalances will no longer be tolerated on Bengal’s soil. The message is clear: infiltrators must leave Bengal before May 5, for the sake of the country and its people. The TMC’s model of extortion, tyranny, appeasement, and jihadization will not stand,” he declared.
Referencing Mamata Banerjee’s old slogan of ‘Maa, Mati, Manus,’ Chugh remarked, “Mamata didi, who once spoke of mothers, land, and people, has forgotten these ideals. Today, mothers in Bengal are struggling to protect their children from mafia threats. The land of Bengal is stained with blood due to TMC’s musclemen, and the people are suffering under TMC’s money power. On May 4, Mamata didi will be leaving, and the BJP government will take over.”
Turning his attention to Tamil Nadu, Chugh accused the DMK of nepotism and dynastic politics. “The people of Tamil Nadu have become subjects of a single family’s rule. Corruption and a twisted mentality dominate, with arrogance prevailing over service. Dynastic politics has replaced democracy. The people of Tamil Nadu have decided to free themselves from this dynastic government,” he stated.
The BJP leader concluded by asserting that citizens in both states are now yearning for change. In Bengal, the response to TMC’s bombastic tactics will come through the ballot, while the fear instilled by Mamata Banerjee will be countered by the BJP’s trustworthiness. Similarly, the people of Tamil Nadu also seek liberation from dynastic rule.
