Awareness Campaign on Kidney Health Launched by Actress Maubani Sarkar on World Kidney Day

Vijayawada, March 12: On the occasion of World Kidney Day, an awareness program was held to highlight the importance of kidney health and preventive care.

Bengali cinema’s acclaimed actress Maubani Sarkar attended the event, urging everyone to raise awareness about kidney health and emphasizing the need to take special care of kidneys, just like any other organ in the body.

In an exclusive interview, Sarkar stated, “I am here as part of an initiative by Arun Kidney Center. This initiative is crucial as it spreads awareness about kidney health, an essential organ that we often overlook. With a little care and awareness, we can protect our kidneys and improve our overall health.”

She further added, “Today, on World Kidney Day, we are running an awareness campaign to educate people about kidney care. It is vital for everyone to understand that a little care can rejuvenate our organs and enhance our health. Many people have come here today, making this campaign a grand success.”

The campaign featured participants of all ages, from children to adults. It included discussions on kidney care methods and appeals to avoid alcohol and substance abuse, which can adversely affect kidney health.

Maubani Sarkar is a well-known figure in Bengali cinema, having started her career with the film ‘Badla.’ She is also recognized as an exceptional dancer, with her dance moves and acting skills celebrated in the industry.
