Mumbai, August 6: The much-anticipated trailer for Emraan Hashmi’s film ‘Awarapan-2’ was released on Thursday. In this trailer, Emraan Hashmi reprises his role as Shivam.
The 1 minute and 25 seconds long trailer answers the questions of fans who have cherished ‘Awarapan’ for two decades. This time, Shivam is portrayed with even more pain, anger, and an unstoppable purpose. The trailer showcases a world of revenge and forgiveness, revealing heavy scars on Shivam’s face. Emraan’s performance serves as a reminder of why this character has remained in the hearts of audiences for 20 years.
The film also features Shabana Azmi, Disha Patani, Puran Gabbi, Aniruddh Rawal, Surendra Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, and Atul Kumar in significant roles. Disha Patani appears as Zara, adding a new emotional dimension to the story, while Shabana Azmi plays Nafisa.
Filled with intense action, the film’s music adds depth to the narrative. The soundtrack is composed by Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly, Amal Malik, Ankit Sachdev, and Waseef Ahmed, with lyrics by Saeed Quadri, Rashmi Virag, Akhil Sachdeva, and Sachin Singh Chandel.
