Mumbai, April 23: Asus has unveiled its refreshed ExpertBook P3 and P5 series in India, providing businesses with affordable yet powerful alternatives to the premium ExpertBook Ultra.
The P3 and P5 series are available in both 14-inch and 16-inch form factors, featuring anti-glare displays. The resolution reaches up to WQXGA, with brightness levels around 400 nits. Certain P5 models also offer OLED panels for those requiring superior display quality.
In terms of performance, the P3 series is equipped with Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 H-series processors, complemented by Intel Arc graphics. The P5 series boasts even more advanced Core Ultra chips, including configurations with NPUs that can deliver up to 50 TOPS on select Copilot+ models.
Memory options are impressive, reaching up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. Some models support expansion through dual M.2 slots and upgradeable RAM.
For video conferencing, the laptops come with a standard 1080p webcam, with select models featuring a higher-resolution 5-megapixel variant that includes IR support. All variants are equipped with a privacy shutter for added security.
Additional Specifications
Both the ExpertBook P3 and P5 series offer essential connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and RJ45 Ethernet on certain models.
Battery specifications vary, with P3 models supporting 65W charging, while P5 variants feature batteries ranging from 63Wh to 70Wh, with charging speeds between 65W and 90W depending on the model.
All models meet MIL-STD-810H certification standards and come with spill-resistant keyboards. Security features include TPM, fingerprint sensors, BIOS protection, and IR-based Windows Hello support on select variants.
The P3 14-inch model starts at 1.43kg, while the 16-inch version weighs up to 1.77kg. The P5 models are slightly lighter, with the 14-inch variant starting around 1.29kg.
Pricing and Availability
The P3 series begins at Rs. 94,990, while the P5 lineup starts at Rs. 2,14,990. The P3 is currently available for purchase with launch discounts, while the P5 is expected to be released soon.
