New Delhi, October 14 (Daily Kiran): Tech giant Apple has officially rebranded its streaming service Apple TV+ to Apple TV, marking a major identity shift for its in-house entertainment platform. The change, effective immediately, was subtly revealed in a press release announcing the streaming release of F1: The Movie.

The rebranding, however, has created some confusion among users, as Apple TV now refers to three different products — the streaming service, the Apple TV app, and the Apple TV 4K hardware device — all sharing the same name.

According to Apple, the move introduces a “vibrant new identity” for the streaming platform. Despite the name change, the Apple TV landing page still displays the old “Apple TV+” branding, suggesting that a full rollout is yet to take place.

The updated Apple TV app icon, featuring new colors, has already appeared in the iOS 26.1 beta 3 release. The redesigned icon aligns with Apple’s broader effort to unify its visual identity across hardware and software.

The renamed Apple TV service will continue to offer exclusive Apple Originals and major film releases. F1: The Movie is currently available for purchase on multiple platforms including the Apple TV app, Amazon Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.
