Vijayawada, May 27: The Andhra Pradesh Medical Service Recruitment Board (APMSRB) has issued an official notification inviting applications for eight Assistant Professor positions at the Government Medical College in Pidukurralla, Palnadu district. These appointments will be made on a regular basis, based on various specialties.
The eight vacancies include one position in Anatomy, two in Physiology, one in Pharmacology, one in Microbiology, two in Community Medicine, and one in DVL. Candidates will be selected through a walk-in interview and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹68,900 to ₹2,05,500, along with additional benefits and allowances.
The walk-in interview is scheduled for June 2, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, at the address of the Director of Medical Education, Old Government Hospital, Hanumanpet, Vijayawada. Eligible and interested candidates are advised to arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with all relevant documents.
Candidates attending the interview must possess a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant specialty from recognized institutions by MCI/NMC, along with APMC registration. The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 42 years, calculated as of July 1.
To participate in the walk-in interview, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee based on their category: ₹2,000 for Open Category (OC) and ₹1,800 for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Disabilities, and Ex-Servicemen.
Candidates can download the application form by visiting the official APMSRB portal. After reaching the homepage, they should click on the notification link for the relevant position. They can then download the application form provided in the notification, fill in all required details, and bring it to the interview center on the day of the interview.
