Anushka Sen Named Global Brand Ambassador for India at Newport Beach Film Festival

Mumbai, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Actress Anushka Sen has been appointed as India’s Global Brand Ambassador at the 2026 Newport Beach Film Festival, marking a significant milestone in her career. Expressing her joy over this honor, Anushka emphasized the power of Indian stories, stating they deserve to be heard globally.

“This title is not merely a label; it represents an opportunity to showcase Indian talent and narratives to an international audience,” she remarked. Reflecting on her role, Anushka described it as a moment difficult to articulate. She believes it transcends the title, highlighting the stories carried across borders and the pathways opened for future generations.

Anushka is passionate about the immense talent in India and insists that its stories are worthy of global attention. She encourages young Indians to recognize that they don’t need to conform to specific molds to make their country proud. “Where you come from can be your greatest strength. Your dreams should never be limited by your circumstances,” she asserted.

Continuously seeking new opportunities in international entertainment, Anushka hopes her journey will inspire others to trust in their dreams and represent India on a global platform. “I consider myself fortunate to have this experience. I want as many young Indians as possible to have the chance to represent their country globally. If my journey inspires even one person to believe in themselves and take that first step towards their dreams, it will mean a lot to me,” she stated.

For Anushka, true success lies in witnessing Indian artists gain recognition on an international stage. She expressed pride in representing her country and hopes this opportunity holds significance beyond just her own achievements. Notably, Anushka was the first Indian actress to debut in the Korean film project “Jeju Ole,” and her recent appointment further solidifies her international journey.
