Mumbai, August 5: Actor Anupam Kher has announced the completion of shooting for his upcoming film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’. He shared this news on social media on Wednesday, expressing his gratitude towards co-star Boman Irani.
In a video posted on Instagram, Kher celebrated the wrap-up party and thanked Irani for being a wonderful friend and collaborator.
Kher wrote, “The wrap for Khurana Sahab’s film is done. On Tuesday night, my friend Boman Irani’s film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ finished shooting. What can be said about a man who has it all: talent, humility, generosity, wisdom, and a big heart?”
He humorously described the relationship between their characters in the film, stating, “Our relationship in the film is completely different from our off-screen bond. In the movie, he plays the intimidating and ruthless Khurana Sahab. In real life, he is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most generous friends one could hope for.”
Kher praised working with Irani, saying, “Collaborating with Boman has always been a fantastic experience. His understanding of cinema, preparation, attention to detail, and ability to enhance every scene are remarkable. Whether we were discussing films, life, world-building, or chess between takes, every moment with him was filled with joy.”
He further added, “The film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ is grand in scale, emotion, and stakes, and yes, Khurana Sahab is also larger than life. Boman, you have brought your talent to the screen and your friendship into my life, for which I am sincerely grateful. Sharing the frame with you is always a pleasure.”
Directed by Prashant Bangia, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ is the much-anticipated sequel to the cult comedy film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ from 2006. The film features Anupam Kher alongside Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Praveen Dabas, Divya Khosla, Ravi Kishan, and Kiran Juneja in key roles.
