Mumbai, April 25: Popular television actress Ankita Lokhande has shared an emotional tribute to her late father, Shashikant Lokhande, who passed away in 2023 after a prolonged illness. In a heartfelt message on her Instagram story, she expressed that she remembers him with every breath she takes.

Ankita posted an old photograph of herself with her father, captioning it, “I remember you with every breath.” She added, “Love your parents while they are with you, or believe me, later you will only regret.”

On the professional front, Ankita and her husband, Vicky Jain, are currently featured in the new season of “Laughter Chefs Fun Unlimited,” alongside artists like Arjun Bijlani, Karan Kundra, Elvish Yadav, Jannat Zubair, Krishna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Nia Sharma, Abhishek Kumar, and Samarth Jurel.

Ankita made her acting debut as Archana Manav Deshmukh in the popular show “Pavitra Rishta,” which also starred the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The series was an adaptation of the Tamil television show “Thirumathi Selvam.” Following this, she appeared in “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4” and “Comedy Circus,” and had a role in two episodes of “Ek Thi Naayika.”

At 41, she made her film debut in 2018 with the Kangana Ranaut-starrer “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi,” based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai. In 2020, she also featured in the action thriller “Baaghi 3,” which included stars like Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh.

After the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020, “Pavitra Rishta” was re-aired, and a new series titled “Pavitra Rishta – It’s Never Too Late” began in September 2021, featuring Ankita as Archana and Shaheer Sheikh as Manav.
