Mumbai, August 18: Bhojpuri actress Anjana Singh is currently immersed in her spiritual journey. After concluding her visit to Omkareshwar, she has now traveled to Vrindavan. When asked about her solo trip, she stated that one does not need company to sing the praises of the Lord.
In a recent Instagram video, Anjana is seen walking through the streets of Vrindavan, heading to have darshan of Banke Bihari. The actress appears deeply engrossed in her devotion to Bihari Ji.
Through her post, she emphasized the importance of visiting Vrindavan alone. She wrote, “One can visit Vrindavan alone; leave behind negativity and sing the Lord’s praises. Hail Banke Bihari Lal.”
Located in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, the Shri Banke Bihari Temple is a highly revered site dedicated to Lord Krishna. Established by Swami Haridas, the temple features an extraordinary idol in a tribhanga posture, where the deity is served like a small child.
A unique aspect of the temple is that Banke Bihari does not grant darshan continuously; the priests repeatedly open and close the curtains. There is no mangal aarti performed here, as it is considered inappropriate to wake the Lord in the morning.
Constructed in the Rajasthani architectural style, the temple complex does not utilize conch shells or bells.
Anjana Singh is recognized as one of the prominent actresses in Bhojpuri cinema. In recent years, she has been producing female-centric films. After facing personal challenges, including depression following her divorce, she has successfully re-established herself in the acting world.
