Amit Shah congratulates ABVP for a significant win in Odisha student elections, calling it a strong message against anti-national elements.

New Delhi, October 17 (Daily Kiran) : Central Home Minister Amit Shah has extended his congratulations to the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for their impressive victory in the Odisha student union elections. He characterized this win as a robust response from the youth against anti-national forces.

In a post on the social media platform X, Shah expressed his heartfelt congratulations to ABVP workers early Saturday morning. He highlighted the organization’s recent successes at Punjab University, Delhi University, and now in 13 universities across Odisha, targeting opposition forces in his remarks. “The remarkable victories at Punjab University, Delhi University, and now in Odisha send a clear message that the youth of our nation stand firm with the ideology of ‘Nation First,’ rejecting those who spread lies, confusion, and chaos,” he wrote.

The ABVP made a significant mark in the Odisha student elections, securing eight president and eleven general secretary positions across the 13 universities. Notably, they achieved a complete sweep in six universities.

Following their victory, the ABVP stated in a post on X, “The mandate from Odisha’s students is clear: they stand with the ABVP. The message from the campuses is unmistakable: students have placed their trust in ABVP’s commitment to student leadership and service.”
