Allegations of Forced Disappearances by Pakistani Forces in Balochistan
Reports indicate that Pakistani forces have forcibly disappeared at least three civilians, including a 16-year-old student, in Balochistan.

Quetta, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : In Quetta, Balochistan, reports have emerged that Pakistani security forces have forcibly disappeared at least three civilians in separate incidents. Among those missing is a 16-year-old student.
According to sources cited by The Balochistan Post, a civilian named Akram was taken by Pakistani intelligence personnel on Monday, marking him as the fourth young man from his family to go missing in recent days. Reports suggest that personnel from the Frontier Corps (FC) had previously asked Akram’s family to bring their missing relatives’ national identity cards and local residency documents to an FC camp.
Akram went to the camp with two other family members to submit the required documents. However, as they were leaving, unidentified individuals in a car forcibly abducted him, while the other two were allowed to leave. Sources allege that these individuals were connected to Pakistani intelligence agencies.
Since then, there has been no information regarding Akram’s whereabouts.
In another incident, a 16-year-old student named Shamshir Ahmed was abducted at gunpoint when armed men entered his home in the Turbat area of Kech. His family claims that those involved were linked to state-backed “death squads.”
Additionally, the Pakistani army reportedly detained Hanif, a resident of Sorag, on Wednesday, taking him to an unknown location. The Balochistan Post notes that his whereabouts remain unknown.
These recent incidents highlight the rising occurrences of extrajudicial killings and forced disappearances in Balochistan. Human rights organizations have raised alarms, accusing the Pakistani military of killing two more Baloch citizens in recent days.
The Baloch Voice for Justice (BVJ) revealed that the body of Adil Baloch was recovered on October 23 from the Serankin area of Kech, just three days after he was forcibly disappeared. The BVJ stated that Adil and three other young men were taken by Pakistani security forces and state-supported death squads during a raid in Kohar Bazaar. The organization further noted that the families of those abducted have been left without any information regarding their safety or whereabouts.
Tensions continue to escalate in Balochistan as the community grapples with these alarming trends.
