Alia Bhatt Shares Fond Memories of Her Father Mahesh Bhatt at Film Screening

Mumbai, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : Alia Bhatt attended the special screening of her mother Soni Razdan’s film “Om Ka Hari” in Mumbai on September 16, where she shared a delightful childhood story about her father, Mahesh Bhatt.

The actress described her father as a humorous person, recalling many fun memories associated with him. “When I was in first grade, I had a spelling test, and I was terrified of forgetting how to spell ‘the.’ To help me remember, Dad created a huge drama, making it unforgettable. I still remember him looking like a big bear, very theatrical and entertaining,” she said.

“Om Ka Hari” explores the complexities of the father-son relationship, presenting it through comedy and drama. The film illustrates that families often face challenges that are difficult to articulate.

Directed by Harish Vyas, the movie stars Anshuman Jha and Raghubir Yadav in the lead roles. The narrative emphasizes the bond between fathers and sons, showcasing both love and differing perspectives. While they strive to understand each other, conflicts can arise, adding depth to their relationship.

In addition to Jha and Yadav, the film features notable performances by Soni Razdan, Aisha Kapoor, and Samta Sudhika. Produced under the banner of First Ray Films, “Om Ka Hari” marks the third collaboration between Harish Vyas and Anshuman Jha, following their previous works “Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain” and “Hum Bhi Akele, Tum Bhi Akele.” The film is set to release in theaters this September.
