Akshay Kumar Celebrates International Yoga Day with Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya

Mumbai, June 21: On the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar participated in a yoga session alongside Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. This year’s theme for International Yoga Day is ‘Yoga for a Healthy Ageing.’

The event, held in New Delhi, saw participation from over three thousand individuals. Akshay Kumar donned a white tracksuit during the yoga practice, showcasing his commitment to fitness. His tracksuit featured the ‘Fit India’ logo.

Currently, Akshay Kumar is preparing for the release of his upcoming film ‘Welcome to the Jungle.’ Recently, he explained why he referred to himself as a ‘flop actor’ in relation to the film.

He attended the trailer launch of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and spoke with the media. When asked why the filmmakers deemed it appropriate to use that term for him, he suggested that it should be viewed in the context of the film rather than as a personal comment.

Akshay Kumar stated, “We are not told to use such dialogues as jabs. When you watch a film, I am sure you understand. You view it based on the character. So, please, thank you for taking offense, but don’t take it too seriously.”

During the event, he also reminisced about actress Raveena Tandon, with whom he had a well-publicized romance in the 90s. He noted how times have changed, mentioning that Raveena, once a reigning heroine of Bollywood, is now a mother to a daughter, Rasha.
