BJP Claims Victory in Legislative Council Elections, Eyes Third Consecutive Assembly Win
The BJP celebrates its success in the Legislative Council elections, asserting a stronger voter base for the upcoming assembly elections.
Lucknow, October 28 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strengthened its position in the recent Legislative Council elections in Uttar Pradesh, claiming it is on track to secure a third consecutive term in the upcoming assembly elections.
Pankaj Chaudhary, the state president of the BJP and Minister of State for Finance, stated that the party has maintained its seat count from the previous elections, based on the results announced thus far. He further asserted that the BJP’s vote percentage has increased compared to the last election.
In a statement congratulating the winning candidates from the teacher and graduate constituencies, Chaudhary emphasized that these groups are educated and committed to democratic values. He noted that they have sent a clear message in favor of development, good governance, and positive politics by exercising their voting rights.
He highlighted that the responsibility of the victorious candidates has now increased. They must meet the expectations of teachers, youth, and graduate voters while working diligently to resolve their issues.
Chaudhary also criticized political parties that question the democratic process, urging them to reflect on the election results. He specifically targeted parties, including the Congress, that have persistently demanded elections via ballot papers, stating they lacked the courage to participate in this electoral process.
The BJP’s goal, he reiterated, is not only to retain its seats but also to continually strengthen public trust through service, good governance, and development. He pointed out that the state government has prioritized development, security, and public welfare, and the party intends to uphold this commitment.
Chaudhary confidently predicted that through ongoing dialogue with the public, welfare initiatives, and robust policies, the BJP will garner unprecedented support in the upcoming assembly elections. He expressed optimism that the party would secure a significant majority, propelling Uttar Pradesh to new heights of development.
