Mumbai, June 25: Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh expressed her admiration for Akshay Kumar during an event for her upcoming film, “Welcome to the Jungle.” Sharing the stage with the Bollywood star, she described the experience as “a dream come true.” Singh praised Kumar’s humility and simplicity, stating that these qualities inspire her the most.
At the event held in Moradabad, Akshara shared several photos on social media alongside Akshay Kumar. She wrote, “Memorable Moradabad with Khiladi Kumar. I used to applaud him on screen, and today I am sharing the stage with him.”
She continued, “The world sees his stardom, but it is his simplicity and humility that have inspired me the most. His presence is incredibly impactful, but his humanity is even more beautiful. I am deeply grateful to my family and fans for their support, love, and blessings that made this possible.”
In “Welcome to the Jungle,” Akshara Singh and Akshay Kumar will be featured in a song titled “Ghiss Ghiss Ghiss.”
The film also stars Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, Jackie Shroff, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Urvashi Rautela, Farida Jalal, Krishna Abhishek, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Vindu Dara Singh, Kiran Kumar, Zakir Hussain, Pankaj Dheer, Puneet Issar, Kiku Sharda, Firoz Khan (Arjun), Sudesh Berry, and Vrihi Kodavara in prominent roles.
This film marks the third installment of the popular “Welcome” franchise, with the first film released in 2007 and the sequel, “Welcome Back,” hitting theaters in 2015.
