Akhilesh Yadav Critiques BJP at Rally in Delhis Ram Leela Ground
Akhilesh Yadav addresses rally in Ram Leela Ground, criticizing BJP and election commission over alleged vote theft.

New Delhi, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, delivered a scathing critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during a rally at Delhi’s Ram Leela Ground on Sunday. He targeted the central government and the Election Commission, accusing them of involvement in vote theft.
Yadav remarked that those who claimed their stance was as firm as Angad’s foot have now realized that the ground beneath them has crumbled. He emphasized the significance of the rally, stating, “I can hear the voice rising from Ram Leela Ground. Since it was decided that the alliance and its partners would unite against those undermining our democracy, it became clear that even they remembered they wanted to join us.”
He pointed out that while the BJP claimed that 12.7 million votes from Hindu voters were removed, the reality was that they were trying to blame their losses on others. “If I say 12.7 million votes were cut, and we do the math for 403 assemblies, that means 31,000 votes were lost in each assembly. The truth is they want to shift the blame for their defeat,” he stated.
Yadav expressed satisfaction that the citizens of Kashi had given the BJP a “double zero,” implying that their claims of a “double engine government” had failed. He noted that the counting of votes took two nights and three days, and they had attempted to manipulate the elections but were unsuccessful.
He accused the BJP of continuous scheming and conspiracies, claiming they knew they couldn’t win the public’s support. Yadav recounted the alleged electoral fraud in Bengal, where he stated that the BJP had deployed forces to suppress votes. “We are not going to accept defeat. We have caught them red-handed,” he asserted.
Recalling the 2022 Uttar Pradesh elections, he said that the Samajwadi Party could not form a government not due to a lack of support but because of vote manipulation. He mentioned that they had submitted affidavits to the Election Commission regarding the removal of voters from the electoral rolls, but no action had been taken.
Yadav highlighted incidents of voter intimidation, including a police officer threatening women trying to vote, but praised their courage in casting their ballots. He condemned the BJP’s tactics, stating, “They want only their members’ votes to count. This is a major conspiracy.”
He concluded by drawing a parallel to the Mahabharata, stating that the current situation in democracy resembled the treachery of Shakuni. “Today, Ram Leela Ground has become the battlefield of democracy,” he declared, indicating that a significant change was on the horizon.
He warned that those who had stolen from the people would face consequences, stating, “This is the ground of Ramji’s leela, where the wicked do not survive.”
