Akhilesh Targets BJP, Calls for Eradicating Evil from Uttar Pradesh
Akhilesh Yadav criticizes BJP, urging the end of social injustice and announcing a manifesto release on Constitution Day.

Lucknow, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : The national president of the Samajwadi Party (SP), Akhilesh Yadav, launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the Dussehra festival. He emphasized that the fight against evil should begin in Uttar Pradesh. Yadav accused the BJP of undermining social justice, people’s rights, and democratic values, while advocating for a blend of Ramrajya and socialism.
On Tuesday, he inaugurated the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) campaign chariots from the SP office, urging party workers to ensure the voter list is accurate. He announced that the party would unveil its manifesto on November 26, coinciding with Constitution Day.
Yadav sent off the PDA chariots with ceremonial coconut breaking and a green flag, marking the occasion with conch-shell sounds and chanting. These chariots are designed to communicate the party’s message to youth, victims, and marginalized groups. He proclaimed that a significant political battle is on the horizon, asserting that the BJP must be defeated.
Offering Dussehra greetings, Yadav remarked, “This festival reminds us of the constant need to combat evil. We must vow today to eliminate evil from this earth, starting with Uttar Pradesh.” He reiterated that the essence of Ramrajya is embodied in socialism, stating, “Those who bring goodness to the world are true followers of Sanatan Dharma, while those who do evil are merely pretenders.”
He also warned the public to remain vigilant. Yadav raised concerns about the BJP’s use of artificial intelligence (AI), alleging that they misused it for malicious purposes. He claimed that upon waking, BJP members had already circulated his video depicting Ravana. He insisted that AI should serve goodness, not be weaponized for harm.
Yadav conveyed to party workers that the upcoming political battle would be challenging, with the country’s future hanging in the balance. He asserted that Uttar Pradesh would play a crucial role in safeguarding the nation, placing the onus on socialists. He stressed the importance of refining the voter list, stating, “If we fail to correct the voter list, we cannot win this battle.” He urged party members to focus on gathering votes and maintaining the integrity of the voter list.
He mentioned the SSR process, indicating that no further amendments to the voter list would be possible after it, urging workers to ensure accuracy until the nomination day. Additionally, Yadav announced that the SP would reveal its manifesto on November 26, a significant step in outlining the party’s political agenda ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
Addressing recent arrests, he demanded the immediate release of Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, and others, claiming they were unjustly detained. He criticized the BJP for pressuring authorities to keep them imprisoned, arguing that neither law nor the Constitution permits such actions.
Yadav questioned the Election Commission’s inaction regarding duplicate votes and accused the BJP of shielding the election commissioner. He also raised issues of waterlogging in Lucknow, the education system, and food adulteration, questioning why those responsible for such malpractices are not held accountable. He accused the BJP of divisive politics and took a jab at their challenges regarding seat distribution for the upcoming elections.
He queried how many seats the BJP would allocate to its ally, the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), and how they would accommodate their partners. Yadav expressed concern that the BJP fears being wiped out in Uttar Pradesh.
Through the launch of the PDA chariots, his call for vigilance regarding the voter list, and the announcement of the manifesto, Akhilesh Yadav has signaled the SP’s preparations for the upcoming assembly elections, with social justice, the Constitution, and opposition to the BJP at the forefront of his agenda.
