Raipur, June 4: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, has announced a recruitment opportunity for 32 Senior Resident (non-academic) positions under the Government of India’s residency scheme. The application process is open until June 12. The vacancies include 14 for Unreserved (UR), 8 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 5 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 2 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 3 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The available positions span various departments, including Biochemistry, Burns and Plastic Surgery, Clinical Hematology, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Conservative and Endodontics, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Periodontology, Neurology, and Nuclear Medicine, with one position each. Additionally, there are 4 positions in Pediatrics, 4 in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, 2 in Physiology, 3 in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, 5 in Radiodiagnosis, and 4 in Trauma and Emergency.
The online application process began on June 3 and will close on June 12. Candidates interested in these positions can visit the official AIIMS Raipur website to access the notification and application link. It is important for applicants to print the application form provided in the notification and attach it to the Google Form submission.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB/Diploma) in the relevant field from a recognized university/institution. For dental positions, a Master’s degree (MDS) in the respective specialty is required.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 45 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection will be based on merit, shortlisting, interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹67,700, along with additional benefits and allowances.
Interviews will be conducted in Raipur at the AIIMS campus, with the specific date to be announced soon.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹1,000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. Women, SC/ST, disabled persons, and ex-servicemen are exempt from the registration fee.
