1025 Agniveers Pass Out from Bihar Regiments 7th Batch in Danapur

Danapur, May 31: In a proud ceremony at the Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC) in Danapur, 1025 Agniveers from the seventh batch successfully completed their training on May 31. These young soldiers have undergone an intense 24-week military training program and are now fully prepared to serve the nation.

During the passing out parade, the Agniveers showcased an impressive march. Under the sacred presence of the national flag, they took an oath to protect the nation, placing their hands on the Gita, Quran, Guru Granth Sahib, and Bible. The oath was administered by Lieutenant Colonel Ankur Kumar Mishra, the adjutant of the Bihar Regimental Centre.

Major General Jai Singh Bainsla, Additional Director General of Assam Rifles, along with the Colonel of the Bihar Regiment, took the salute during the parade and praised the Agniveers for their outstanding performance. He noted that the discipline, endurance, and patriotism displayed by these youths are a matter of pride for the country.

He urged the Agniveers to always remember their commitment to the national flag and to leave no stone unturned in serving their motherland.

Parents and family members of the Agniveers who attended the parade were honored with ‘Pride Medals’ for their contributions. Special awards were also given to Agniveers who excelled during training.

Agniveer Dayaram Chicham (Golf Company) received the ‘Best in Firing’ medal for outstanding performance in shooting. Agniveer Nimal Nagesina (Golf Company) was awarded the ‘Best in PT’ medal for achieving the top position in physical training.

Agniveer Gulab Dhurve (Golf Company) was recognized with the ‘Best in Drill’ medal for his exceptional performance in drills. Additionally, he was named the ‘Best Recruit of the Batch’ for his overall excellence.

Brigadier Syed Anwar Hussain Rizvi, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Lieutenant Colonel Harsh Uday Singh Gour, and Lieutenant Colonel Shanti Swarup Rana presented medals to these Agniveers.

This passing out ceremony marks the completion of the seventh batch under the Agnipath scheme. These Agniveers have achieved high standards in physical fitness, firing, drills, and mental resilience during their training. They will now be deployed in various combat units to safeguard the nation’s borders.
