YSRCP Demands Action Against TDP MP Mahesh Yadav Over Drug Allegations

Amaravati, March 15: The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) has called for action against Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Putta Mahesh Yadav, who is accused of using drugs at a rave party in Hyderabad.

Former MLA TJR Sudhakar Babu stated on Sunday that Chief Minister and TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu should expel the MP from the party, especially since his drug test results have come back positive.

Sudhakar Babu labeled the TDP as the “Telugu Drugs Party,” alleging that alcohol and drugs are easily accessible in the state. He emphasized that the MP has revealed his true identity through these actions.

He also questioned whether Chandrababu Naidu would take any action. Sudhakar Babu accused Naidu, who is allied with the Jana Sena and BJP, of maintaining active contact with Congress leadership, which he previously used to halt the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Project. It remains to be seen how Naidu will respond to this incident involving the MP.

YSRCP leaders pointed out that the MP is the son of a former TTD chairman, and his presence at the drug-related incident highlights his true character.

YSRCP spokesperson Konda Rajiv Gandhi expressed shock and embarrassment over the fact that MP Mahesh Yadav was caught during a police raid at a farmhouse in Moinabad related to drug allegations.

He remarked that this incident exposes the failed and false image of Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh, who loudly proclaim “Say No to Drugs” while claiming to control drug issues in the state.

Rajiv Gandhi noted that the MP comes from a prominent family close to Chandrababu Naidu, with his father currently serving as the MLA of Mydukuru and also being a former TTD chairman.
