Yogi Adityanath Responds to Attack on YouTuber Saleem Vastik in Ghaziabad

Lucknow, February 28: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken note of the attack on YouTuber Saleem Vastik in Ghaziabad. He issued a stern warning, stating that those who disrupt law and order will not be spared.

The Chief Minister’s office confirmed that Adityanath has directed strict action in response to the incident. He emphasized that there is no place for terror in Uttar Pradesh, assuring that the law will take its course against those who violate public safety.

Currently, Saleem Vastik is hospitalized at GTB Hospital, where his condition is reported to be serious. He was attacked with a knife by two unidentified assailants.

According to Ghaziabad police, they received a call around 8 AM on Friday via Dial 112, reporting that an individual had been stabbed by two unknown persons in the Ali Garden area. The local police unit arrived at the scene and identified the victim as Saleem. He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Reports indicate that the attackers arrived on a motorcycle without a license plate and were wearing helmets. They entered the area where Saleem resides and inflicted multiple stab wounds to his neck and abdomen, leaving him bleeding profusely.

Assistant Police Commissioner Siddharth Gautam stated that after receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, Saleem was referred to GTB Hospital, where he is currently undergoing medical care. Police have registered a case following a complaint from the victim’s family. They are reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity and have formed teams to apprehend the suspects.
