Mumbai, April 20: Xiaomi has launched its latest energy-efficient air conditioner, the Mijia Super Energy-Saving 2026 Model (1HP), in the Chinese market. This new product is available for purchase on JD.com at an attractive price of 1,699 yuan ($249).
Mijia Super Energy-Saving AC 2026 Specifications
The air conditioner showcases a sleek, minimalist white design that aligns with Xiaomi’s signature aesthetic. It employs a variable frequency (inverter) system to support both cooling and heating functions, making it suitable for year-round use.
This model achieves a top-tier energy efficiency rating under China’s new standards, boasting an Annual Performance Factor (APF) of 5.45. Xiaomi claims that this unit significantly lowers electricity consumption compared to less efficient models, thanks to its Lingyun intelligent energy-saving algorithm.
Equipped with a 9.8cc compressor, the air conditioner provides a cooling capacity of 2670W, adjustable between 150W and 4650W. For heating, it offers a rated output of 4570W, with a maximum of 6100W, and includes a 1050W PTC auxiliary heater.
The air conditioner efficiently circulates air with a cross-flow fan that achieves an impressive airflow rate of 740m³/h. It supports both vertical and horizontal swing modes to ensure even air distribution throughout a room. Additionally, Xiaomi has incorporated an upper and lower airflow system to prevent direct cold air drafts, enhancing comfort.
To tackle hygiene concerns, the unit features self-cleaning capabilities for both indoor and outdoor components. This system minimizes bacteria buildup and ensures cleaner air over time. Intelligent features such as automatic clogging reminders and deep-cleaning functions have also been added to maintain optimal performance.
The air conditioner is compatible with HyperOS Connect and the Mijia app, allowing for AI-powered automation, cloud-based remote maintenance, and OTA software updates.
Xiaomi has optimized noise levels for quiet environments like bedrooms. The indoor unit operates as quietly as 18dB(A) on its lowest setting, while higher speeds remain within 40dB(A). The outdoor unit generates approximately 50dB(A) of noise during operation.
The indoor unit measures 795 x 310 x 205 mm and weighs 9.5 kg, while the outdoor unit weighs 22 kg and measures 813 x 560 x 311 mm.
In related news, Xiaomi has recently launched a new hair dryer featuring nano water ion technology and smart scalp protection, along with the Mijia Titanium Thermos Cup Ti2 in a Moonlight Silver finish.
