New Delhi, September 26 (Udaipur Kiran News). Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 17, the world’s first smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Alongside its flagship chipset, the device introduces significant upgrades in battery technology, display, and camera performance.

Battery and charging
The Xiaomi 17 packs a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery (Si/C) with up to 16% silicon content. Charging support includes 100W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.
Display and design
The phone features a 6.3-inch M10 LTPO OLED panel with 1,220 × 2,656px resolution, 1–120Hz variable refresh rate, and 3,500 nits peak brightness. Protection comes from Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass, and bezels are slimmed down to just 1.18mm on all sides.
It also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, flat aluminum frame, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
