Women Empowerment: A Pillar of Development Under PM Modis Leadership, Says CM Yogi

Lucknow, June 12: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s successful leadership, the past 12 years have seen remarkable achievements for women’s empowerment in India. He emphasized that the journey from ‘women’s development’ to ‘women-led development’ has rewritten the narrative of social and economic transformation in the country. Initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have connected millions of mothers and sisters to dignity, safety, and self-reliance.

CM Yogi highlighted that campaigns such as ‘Lakshmi Didis’ have elevated women’s entrepreneurship and confidence to new heights. Today, daughters of India are setting new records in fields like defense, science, research, entrepreneurship, and aviation, becoming the greatest force in realizing the vision of a developed India.

On Friday, CM Yogi shared on his social media platform that under the esteemed leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the women of India have reached new heights of respect, safety, self-reliance, and leadership over the past 12 years. He further noted that the transition from ‘women’s development’ to ‘women-led development’ has emerged as the greatest strength in the commitment to a ‘developed India.’

He mentioned that initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission, and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana have brought convenience, safety, and dignity to the lives of millions of mothers and sisters. Meanwhile, the Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and the robust network of self-help groups have provided a new foundation for women’s economic independence and social empowerment. The ‘Lakshmi Didis’ campaign has given women a new identity in terms of confidence, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.

CM Yogi stated that today, Indian women are not just the strength of families but have emerged as the driving force behind the nation’s progress. From defense to research, and from entrepreneurship to aviation, India’s daughters are creating new paradigms. He concluded that these 12 years of women’s empowerment are a motivating saga of ’empowering women to empower the nation.’
