Why Asaduddin Owaisi Criticizes the Samajwadi Party: Ruchi Veera Speaks Out

Mumbai, August 2: Ruchi Veera, a Member of Parliament from the Samajwadi Party, questioned why AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi consistently targets her party. She addressed the potential alliance between the Samajwadi Party and AIMIM for the upcoming assembly elections, stating that the decision lies with the party leadership.

In a conversation regarding the alliance, Veera remarked, “Whether the alliance will happen or not is up to our national president and Asaduddin Owaisi.”

Veera acknowledged Owaisi as a significant leader, referring to him as a big brother. However, she expressed confusion over why he only criticizes the Samajwadi Party and not the BJP.

On the recent theft of donations at the Siddhivinayak Temple, Veera emphasized the need for an impartial investigation into any incidents that undermine the faith of Sanatan Dharma followers. She insisted that strict action should be taken against those responsible for the donation theft.

In sports news, India performed remarkably at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, securing fourth place with a total of 39 medals. Veera congratulated the athletes, stating, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the players who have brought pride to our country.”

In a related event, independent MP Pappu Yadav protested in the Parliament complex wearing saffron attire, addressing the donation theft at the Ram Temple. Veera supported Yadav, asserting that there is nothing wrong with his actions, as it was a symbolic message demanding accountability from the government regarding the theft.
