White House Dinner Shooting: Suspects Plan to Target Trump and Officials Revealed

Washington, April 28: During the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend, the suspected shooter sent a manifesto prior to the incident. Investigators report that this document clearly outlined his intention to target the U.S. President and senior administration officials.

Authorities identified the assailant as Tom Allen, who emailed family members and a former employer shortly before the attack. Accompanying the email was a document titled “Apology and Explanation.”

In this message, Allen expressed deep regret for the trouble he caused, stating he did not expect forgiveness for his actions.

He attempted to justify his actions in the document, writing, “I am responsible for what my representatives do, and I can no longer bear the crimes.”

According to investigators, the manifesto explicitly stated that Allen’s targets were high-ranking government officials present at the dinner. The document indicated that “administration officials are targets prioritized from top to bottom.”

U.S. attorney Jeanine Pirro remarked that there was no ambiguity in the written statement, asserting, “This was clearly an attempt to assassinate the President of the United States, and the defendant made his intentions clear.”

The document also outlined certain “rules,” stating that Secret Service personnel would only be targeted if necessary, and that hotel staff or guests were not his main targets.

Nevertheless, he acknowledged that others could be harmed in the attack, writing, “If absolutely necessary, I could cause harm to others.” Prosecutors noted that this indicates the seriousness of the threat.

Investigators revealed that the email was scheduled to be sent at a predetermined time, suggesting that the entire plan was premeditated, followed by an attempt to rationalize his actions.

Officials stated that Allen also apologized to those who were endangered by being near his targets.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch confirmed that the manifesto is part of a broader investigation. He stated that further inquiries are being conducted by the FBI and other agencies. Authorities are examining electronic devices found in the suspect’s hotel room and home to determine if he was part of a larger network or acted alone.

FBI Director Kash Patel noted that investigations are ongoing across multiple states, with agents collecting evidence and interviewing individuals to understand the full scope of the conspiracy and its motivations.
