Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan Welcomed in Mumbai by Chief Minister Fadnavis

Mumbai, March 21: Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan arrived in Mumbai on Saturday. He was warmly welcomed by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Governor Jishnu Dev Verma. During the event, they presented him with a bouquet and expressed their happiness over his arrival.

Upon landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the Vice President received a grand reception. He was also honored with a ‘Guard of Honor’ at the Maharashtra Lok Bhavan.

Maharashtra’s Governor Jishnu Dev Verma, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, and other dignitaries were present to greet him at the airport.

Earlier, the Vice President visited Nagpur, where he paid tribute to Dr. Hedgewar, the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, at the Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Bhavan. He then attended the 29th National Session of the Indian Youth Parliament at the Maharshi Vyas Sabhagar.

During the event, the Vice President praised the enthusiasm and active participation of the youth. He noted that the Indian Youth Parliament National Trust has played a crucial role in connecting youth from various fields over the past two decades, fostering the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’

He also shared insights on linguistic diversity and India’s development. Speaking on the topic ‘Indian Languages and Developed India-2047,’ he emphasized that India’s linguistic diversity is a great strength and that it is every citizen’s responsibility to respect and preserve it. He encouraged the youth to maintain their language, culture, and patriotism while actively participating in the nation’s development.

The event was attended by Maharashtra’s Governor Jishnu Dev Verma, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and other dignitaries, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and dignity throughout.
