Varun Badola Voices Concerns Over Late Payments in TV Industry

Mumbai, March 29: The television industry has long entertained audiences, but the artists and technical teams behind the scenes face numerous challenges. Among these issues are delayed payments and long working hours. While these problems are not new, discussions around them have intensified over time. Recently, actor Varun Badola has openly shared his thoughts on the matter.

In an interview, Varun Badola expressed his frustration regarding the issue of late payments in the TV industry. He stated, “Everyone deserves to receive their payment on time. This is a basic rule that should be followed. If something is going wrong, it needs to be corrected immediately, as it directly impacts people’s lives and work.”

When asked what steps should be taken to address this issue, Badola offered a somewhat disheartening response. He remarked that if concrete actions were to be taken, they would have already been implemented by now. Although the industry has been discussing this issue for a long time, tangible changes are still lacking.

Additionally, Varun Badola raised concerns about the long working hours in the TV industry. He noted, “Working long hours continuously is not good for anyone, and we need to think seriously about this. This problem keeps recurring, making it essential to bring about change. If work is done properly, better quality can be achieved in less time, without affecting anyone’s health.”

Discussing changes in the industry, Badola mentioned, “Sometimes there is a lack of discipline in the industry. If work is done with proper planning and discipline, better results can be achieved. However, this is rarely seen, leading to increased work pressure and diminishing satisfaction.”

He concluded, “Even though the workload is heavier now and challenges have increased, there is no shortage of talent in the industry. I believe that superstars will continue to emerge, but it is equally important to create a better working environment.”
