New Delhi, June 12: The promotional campaign for the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 was launched with a grand roadshow in New Delhi. This event marks the beginning of a nationwide series of promotional activities aimed at connecting the industry, exporters, buyers, investors, and business organizations with this significant event.
Jointly organized by the Uttar Pradesh government and India Exposition Mart Limited, the trade show will take place from September 25 to 29, 2026, at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. Following three successful editions, UPITS has become the state’s premier annual business event. The roadshow in Delhi featured Bhupendra Chaudhary, the Minister of MSME, as the chief guest, alongside MSME Minister of State Hansraj Vishwakarma, Principal Secretary of MSME and Export Promotion Shashibhushan Lal Sushil, and several other officials.
During his address, Bhupendra Chaudhary emphasized that UPITS provides a global platform for showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s industrial capabilities, entrepreneurship, export strength, and cultural heritage. He noted that this event plays a crucial role in strengthening the MSME sector, promoting the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, and creating new business opportunities. Chaudhary expressed confidence that this event would significantly contribute to Uttar Pradesh’s goal of becoming a trillion-dollar economy.
Hansraj Vishwakarma, the Minister of State for MSME, highlighted that UPITS is a vital initiative aimed at modernizing and globalizing India’s traditional business culture, linking Uttar Pradesh with global markets. According to the organizers, the previous edition of UPITS in 2025 attracted over 507,000 visitors, including more than 140,000 B2B attendees. Additionally, 2,228 exhibitors showcased their products and services across more than 35,000 square meters, facilitating numerous business meetings that generated substantial trade opportunities.
The event’s international popularity continues to rise. The last edition saw participation from over 550 foreign buyers from 85 countries, enhancing Uttar Pradesh’s reputation as a global sourcing hub. UPITS 2026 will present the state’s manufacturing capabilities, MSME sector, ODOP products, innovation, exports, tourism, handicrafts, culture, and traditional cuisines on a single platform.
Moreover, new initiatives like “One District One Cuisine” (ODOC) will receive special emphasis. Organizers believe this event will play a pivotal role in establishing Uttar Pradesh as a major center for global trade and investment.
