Lucknow, April 25: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the recruitment of 170 positions for Fireman and Fire Guard roles under the Secretariat Administration Department. This includes 120 vacancies for Fire Guards and 50 for Firemen. Eligible candidates are invited to apply online.
The application process will commence on June 9 and will close on June 29. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official website once the application link is activated. For those who make errors while filling out the application, a correction window will be available until July 6.
Candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination from the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board or an equivalent recognized examination. Preference will be given to those with a minimum of two years of service in the Territorial Army or holders of an NCC ‘B’ certificate.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 40 years, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on the scores from the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025), followed by a main written examination, physical measurement test, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.
All candidates must pay the application fee of ₹25 online while submitting their forms. Please note that the application will only be accepted after the registration fee is paid.

Register and log in, fill out all required information, upload the necessary documents in the correct size, pay the registration fee, and submit the form.
