Mumbai, May 20: The Under-23 men’s One Day International (ODI) tournament will shift to a T20 format in the upcoming 2026/27 domestic season. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced this change on Wednesday. Additionally, the match between the Colonel C.K. Nayudu Trophy winner and the rest of India will return to the domestic calendar.
In the 2026-27 domestic season, a total of 1,788 matches will be played across various age categories in men’s and women’s cricket. The season will kick off with the prestigious Duleep Trophy, scheduled from August 23 to September 10 at the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.
