New Delhi, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : Young individuals aspiring for a career in banking have a promising opportunity ahead. UCO Bank has announced the recruitment of 530 apprentices, inviting eligible candidates to apply.
The vacancies are distributed across various states and union territories, including 8 positions in Andhra Pradesh, 1 in Arunachal Pradesh, 24 in Assam, 34 in Bihar, 4 in Chandigarh, 9 in Chhattisgarh, 1 in Goa, 20 in Gujarat, 15 in Haryana, 25 in Himachal Pradesh, 3 in Jammu and Kashmir, 12 in Jharkhand, 11 in Karnataka, 10 in Kerala, 27 in Madhya Pradesh, 32 in Maharashtra, 2 in Manipur, 1 in Meghalaya, 1 in Nagaland, 13 in New Delhi, 41 in Odisha, 1 in Puducherry, 24 in Punjab, 37 in Rajasthan, 1 in Sikkim, 21 in Tamil Nadu, 8 in Telangana, 5 in Tripura, 45 in Uttar Pradesh, 8 in Uttarakhand, and 86 in West Bengal.
The online application process commenced on October 14 and will remain open until October 29. Interested candidates must first register on the NATs portal, then complete their application on UCO Bank’s official website before the deadline.
Applicants should hold a graduation degree from a recognized institution or university. The minimum age for candidates is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is 28 years, calculated as of October 1, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on an online objective test, document verification, and a local language examination. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹16,650. The online entrance exam is scheduled for November 7, 2026, at 11 AM, organized by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC).
While filling out the application, candidates need to pay the prescribed application fee online. The fees are ₹800 plus GST for general/EWS and OBC male candidates, ₹600 plus GST for general/EWS and OBC female/transgender candidates, ₹200 plus GST for SC/ST candidates, and ₹200 plus GST for candidates with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).
Candidates should note that the total duration of the training will be one year from the contract date.
