Two Drug Traffickers Arrested in Trilokpuri, New Delhi

New Delhi, February 21: The Delhi Police have arrested two more individuals in connection with a drug trafficking case.

According to police reports, the arrests followed an investigation into the call detail records of the main accused, Ameen Khan. This analysis revealed two local associates, identified as 27-year-old Asif and 42-year-old Ikraar, both residents of Trilokpuri. They were found to be in direct contact with Ameen Khan and actively involved in the supply of the seized prohibited substances.

The Delhi Police confirmed that Asif and Ikraar have been apprehended. During questioning, both admitted to purchasing ‘smack’ from Ameen Khan and distributing it in local areas. Investigating agencies noted that both suspects were not only involved in this case but were also wanted in another previously registered case.

Reports indicate that both individuals were being sought in a First Information Report (FIR) filed at the Mayur Vihar police station. They face charges under Sections 21, 61, and 85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The process to declare them criminals has already commenced.

Police officials stated that this operation has led to a total of five arrests related to this drug trafficking syndicate. Investigating agencies are now focused on identifying and apprehending other members of the network. They are also working to uncover the sources and routes of the drug supply.

The police have emphasized that their campaign against illegal drug trafficking will continue, and anyone involved in such crimes will not be spared. The investigation is ongoing, with further revelations expected.
