Washington, February 25: President Donald Trump has announced that under his leadership, America has witnessed “significant change” in just one year. He addressed Congress, stating that the country has undergone transformations never seen before.

In excerpts from his State of the Union address delivered from the White House, Trump declared, “Tonight, just one year later, I can proudly say that we have achieved changes like never before, and it is a substantial change. We will never return to where we were some time ago.”

This first State of the Union address of his second term is expected to break all previous records, with sources indicating it could last over one hour and 45 minutes.

Referring to the founding ideals of the United States, he said, “From 1776 to today, every generation of Americans has stepped forward to defend the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. Now it is our turn.”

He further emphasized, “My administration is creating a country where every child has the opportunity to rise and succeed, where the government is accountable to the people, not the powerful. The interests of hardworking American citizens will always be our first and last concern.”

On the economy, Trump consistently projected domestic growth. He stated, “Moving forward, factories, jobs, investments, and trillions of dollars will continue to flow into America, as we finally have a president who puts America first.”

Criticizing the previous administration, he claimed that everything was stolen and manipulated to extract money from productive and hardworking individuals.

Trump also claimed to have reduced prescription drug prices, saying, “I am eliminating the exorbitant prices of prescription medicine. Other presidents have tried to do this but failed. They only talked and took no action. I have made it happen.”

Regarding housing policy, he noted, “Last month, I signed an order banning large Wall Street investment firms from purchasing single-family homes in large numbers.” He urged Congress to make this ban permanent.

Speaking on corruption and alleged fraud, Trump referenced Minnesota, stating, “There is no more shocking example than Minnesota, where members of the Somali community have looted nearly $19 billion from American taxpayers.”

On border and internal security issues, he accused Democrats of cutting funding. He stated, “While we are talking, Democrats in this chamber have cut all funding for the Department of Homeland Security. They have shut down the agency responsible for protecting Americans from terrorists and killers.”

He demanded, “Tonight, I call for the full and immediate restoration of all funding for America’s border security and homeland security.” Trump promised to keep communities safe, asserting that dangerous repeat offenders are being released by crime-friendly politicians.

On foreign policy, Trump stated, “As president, I will make peace wherever possible, but I will never hesitate to confront threats to America when necessary.” He also pledged to restore American security and dominance in the Western Hemisphere.
