Agartala, August 21: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha urged students on Friday to concentrate on their studies and remain dedicated to their goals. He emphasized that diligence and the pursuit of knowledge are essential for success in today’s competitive environment.
Saha inaugurated several development programs and laid the foundation stone at PM-Shrie AD Nagar English Medium School.
He stated, “Concentration is the ladder to success. The more a person studies and remains steadfast towards their goals, the more knowledge they can acquire.”
The Chief Minister highlighted that gaining knowledge in various subjects is crucial for establishing oneself in the current competitive landscape.
During the event, Saha, along with other dignitaries, conducted a central ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ ceremony to lay the foundation for various infrastructure development projects at Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan, Baradwali XII Class School, Hapania XII Class School, and Charipara XII Class School.
Saha also oversees the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. He initiated a pilot project to design analysis-based interactive virtual classrooms for 240 remote schools across the state. Additionally, he launched a digitization initiative for land maps in the Agartala Municipal Corporation area under the school education department’s initiative.
Addressing the students present at the event, the Chief Minister shared experiences from his student life and advised them to focus on their studies and remain committed to their goals.
He mentioned that the current government places significant importance on infrastructure development, quality education, and healthcare throughout the state. The goal is to ensure that students receive all necessary facilities and security upon attending school. To this end, the relevant departments have been instructed to gather updated information regarding boundary walls, drinking water facilities, benches for seating, mid-day meals, and toilets in every school across the state.
Saha stated that after collecting this information, the government will take effective measures to address the issues faced by schools. The government aims to develop Baradwali Higher Secondary School as a model school in the future.
The Chief Minister also referenced the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program led by Prime Minister Modi, highlighting its primary objective of ensuring that students do not experience excessive stress and fatigue due to exam pressures. Overcoming fatigue and progressing towards success is a sign of strong thinking and self-confidence. Those who can cultivate this strong mindset and confidence will advance in the future.
