New Delhi, August 12: BJP leaders have urged citizens to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign as a festival. JD(U) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad emphasized that the tricolor represents the pride of our soil.
Prasad stated, “PM Modi’s clear message is to make the tricolor a part of our celebrations. This freedom was achieved through the sacrifices of our ancestors, and the tricolor symbolizes our soil’s pride. Bringing the tricolor to every home is part of this grand campaign.”
He added, “The opposition has repeatedly demanded that Amit Shah come to the House to address the events in Delhi. Now that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to address Parliament, it presents a challenge for the opposition. They have spread falsehoods, and today, they must listen to Shah’s address instead of fleeing. I believe this will be a test for the opposition.”
On the FCRA bill being sent to the JPC, Rajiv Ranjan remarked, “This is a welcome step. Regulating the foreign funds that come to India through various organizations is crucial. The JPC will now deliberate on this matter.”
Regarding the Air India pilot testing positive for cannabis, he stated, “There can be no compromise on safety regulations. Monitoring of drug tests must continue consistently.” He also raised concerns about the Congress party’s silence on the ongoing protests in Jharkhand.
The JD(U) spokesperson questioned, “You have time for Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, but why not for Ranchi? Why aren’t you pressuring the Jharkhand government to conduct a CBI inquiry?”
Targeting Bihar Assembly Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, he said, “Tejashwi is part of the India bloc, so I expected him to go there, pressurize the government, and ensure justice for the students.”
