Tributes Pour In for Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta Following His Death

Mumbai, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : Rohit Bose and Sikandar Kher have expressed their sorrow over the passing of renowned filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, who died recently. Both actors highlighted Gupta’s immense influence on their careers, describing his loss as a personal tragedy.

Sikandar Kher took to Instagram to honor Gupta, recalling how he was instrumental in launching his film career. He wrote, “Sanjay Gupta was someone who gave me my break in the film industry. The saddest part of this line is the word ‘was.’ He was a fantastic producer and a passionate director. His faith in me built my confidence, and that was his energy, not just for me but for his entire team.”

Kher also expressed gratitude for Gupta’s support and extended his condolences to Gupta’s wife, Anu, and their family. He added, “Thank you for everything. You will be greatly missed. My prayers are with Anu and the family. Sanjay, may you rest in peace.”

Television actor Rohit Bose shared his grief over Gupta’s untimely death, stating that it marks the end of a significant chapter in his life. He posted a picture with Gupta on Instagram, reminiscing about their cherished moments together. “Today, I lost not just a person, but my friend, brother, and crime partner,” he wrote. “This is the end of a major chapter in my life, one we often reminisced about during our meetings.”

He continued, “Who will I complain to now? Who will call me to remind me to block dates during my worst times? Who will stand at the table and feed me until I can’t eat anymore? You had a passion for cinema like no other, and you would send emotional messages at 11 PM, assuring me that everything would be alright and that we would soon make history again. Gupps, this isn’t fair at all. RIP, my brother. I know you’re spreading joy wherever you are.”
