Noida, August 14: A shocking incident in the Sector-121 area of Noida has left the community in disbelief. A 16-year-old boy is accused of murdering his father with a sharp weapon before jumping in front of a metro train at Sector-52 Metro Station to take his own life.
The grim details emerged when the boy’s uncle informed the police about his brother’s disappearance. Upon investigation, authorities discovered the father’s body in a room at their home. The police collected several crucial pieces of evidence from the scene. On August 13, 2026, Arun Sharma, a resident of the Phase-3 police station area, reported that his nephew, Amrit Sharma, had committed suicide by jumping in front of a metro train on August 12.
Arun Sharma also mentioned that his brother, Raju Sharma, was missing. He stated that Raju and his son, Amrit, lived near the Jagannath Temple in the Phase-3 area. Following this information, the Phase-3 police began searching for Raju Sharma. During their search, they received reports of a foul smell coming from a house on Gali No. 2 in the Ajnara Society.
When the police arrived and investigated, they found Raju Sharma’s body inside the room. According to the police, there were signs of injuries from a sharp weapon on the body. The authorities secured the crime scene and called in a forensic team for a detailed examination. The forensic team and senior police officials meticulously inspected the area and collected necessary evidence. Two mobile phones and some keys were recovered from Amrit Sharma’s possession, one belonging to him and the other to his father, Raju Sharma. The keys were used to unlock the room.
During the investigation, police also discovered blood-stained clothes belonging to Amrit Sharma in the room. It is reported that he left these clothes after changing. The forensic team has taken these garments for analysis. The police are now piecing together the events based on the recovered evidence and forensic reports. Initial inquiries with family and neighbors revealed that Raju Sharma often prevented his son Amrit from going out.
It was noted that Amrit had not been enrolled in any school. Conflicts regarding school admission and outdoor activities between father and son have come to light. Authorities suspect that these circumstances may have contributed to the teenager’s mental stress and depression. The police are investigating the conditions under which Amrit attacked his father and subsequently took his own life at the metro station. The blood-stained clothes, mobile phones, and other evidence found at the scene are considered crucial to the case.
Based on Arun Sharma’s complaint, the Phase-3 police have registered a case against Amrit Sharma under relevant sections of the law. The police stated that the investigation is ongoing, and further legal action will be taken based on the forensic report and other evidence.
